Memberships & Visitor Passes
MGJJ Memberships include full Unlimited Training and are available to students living within the Tri-State area. Visitor Passes include Day Passes, 2 Week Passes, & Monthly Passes. Visitors are welcome to stop by the academy and watch classes. Please ask permission before filming.

General questions
Q: Do you allow visitors?
A: Yes, visitors are welcome to come and train with us at any time. A photo ID will be required to participate in classes.
Q: Do I need to make reservations to attend classes?
A: No, you do not need to make reservations, however we ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes early so that you can fill out a waiver and purchase your visitors pass. Please make sure to bring your photo ID. If you are under the age of 18, you will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Click here to fill out our online waiver.
Q: Do you allow kids and minors to train?
A: Yes, we allow kids and minors to train in our MGJJ Kids & Youth Program. Click here for more information. Anyone under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and a photo ID will be required.
Q: What classes can I attend?
A: Class requirements depend on your current belt rank or years/months of training. To see the requirements for each class, please view our schedule.
Q: What is the cost for visitors to train?
A: We have Day Passes, 2 Week Passes, and Monthly Passes available for visiting students. You can view our pricing online here.
Q: Do you have any GI or NOGI restrictions?
A: No, we do not have any GI or NOGI restrictions. You may wear any colored kimono with patches from any academy affiliation. We ask that you wear clean attire for each class you attend. In addition, your NOGI attire should be free of pockets, zippers, and buttons.
Q: If I attend a GI class, do I need to wear a GI?
A: Yes
Q: Do you rent GI’s?
A: No, we do not have rental GIs. We do have GI’s for sale at the front desk of the academy and our online store. www.marcelogarciastore.com
Q: Do you sell merchandise at the Academy?
A: Yes, we sell merchandise at the academy and the same products are also available at marcelogarciastore.com.
Q: Do you have showers and locker rooms?
A: Yes, we have showers and locker rooms. You will need to bring your own towel and lock. We provide free antibacterial shower gel.
Q: Do you have any gym rules or etiquette that I should be aware of?
A: Yes, we have gym etiquette signs up in the Academy that we recommend you read through while you are visiting us.
Q: Do you allow pictures or filming?
A: Yes, we allow media. Please ask contact info@marcelogarciajj.com or speak with the front desk for permission prior to filming.

A: Yes, we do offer private lessons and you can email us info@marcelogarciajj.com for more information on available instructors and prices.
